It was nice to have the sun back today after a couple of days with overcast skies, and it made it great for spotting the sharks! We had zero wait time today as there were three sharks around us before we even got the cage tied onto the side of the boat. The largest shark of the day was a 4.3m male who stayed with us from beginning to end! We also got to see “Poseidon” again, he was showing off for the clients with his aerial displays today! While we were in Shark Alley visiting the seals, we managed to spot two more sharks, both good sizes likely round the 4m mark, who looked like they may have been on the hunt. As if the day hadn’t been impressive enough we spotted a Bryde’s Whale on the way back into the harbour, who surfaced twice for us to have a quick look.
